NCC’s “Specialize N Hip-Hop Protection” Mixtape Series

New City Connection ENT’s underground Hip-Hop music mixtape series was launched in the mid 90’s. It introduced some of today’s seasoned vets to potential fans in regions they were unknown in when they were on their rise to fame, like NYC’s own Jay-Z and 50Cent, NOLA’s own Fiend, and Six Shot, and Cali’s own Mitchy Slick, featuring music and exclusive freestyles from some of the illest underground emcees from across the U.S., and spun by some of the host underground DJs around. New City’s tapes represented the original intent of the Hip-Hop mixtape format (and continues to do so today), by bringing the feel of an underground Hip-Hop jam directly to the consumers.

Our relaunched series of mixtapes shall continue the New City mixtape original format traditions, with a lot of added new twist to the projects. The projects did and shall continue to leave an undisputed impact on Hip-Hop music lovers like none before it.

We also welcome suggestions from listeners on artists and/or DJs they would like to hear on future projects. We welcome all correspondence from listeners stating their opinions on our projects and the artists on them; however, we ask that everyone conduct themselves in a respectful manner when giving feedback. Since the relaunch of NCC’s “Specialize N Hip-Hop Protection” mixtape series with its first installment titled “Back to Da Future”, Hip-Hop heads worldwide have been anticipating the release of the next tape, so they can get up on the latest underground heat from the North, South, East, and West regions, and check which guest DJ/host will be spinning the heat on the project.
